At DoubleBook, our not-so-secret mission is to hand over the reins to you.
That way, whether you're a salon professional or a salon assistant, you get to decide the who, what, when, and where of your career.
Our secret mission?
Make the beauty industry a better place by erasing obstacles and old-school rules that burn out professional hairstylists and make newbies suffer.
(Well, it's not totally a secret now that we told you.)
We can all agree it's time the beauty industry got a makeover of its own, right?
(Sorry for the bad pun.)
A SILICON VALLEY START-UP? A SERIAL ENTREPRENEUR? A TECH GENIUS? ACTUALLY…
DoubleBook was founded by a gal from Orange County, California.
And that gal is me, Holly! I'm a fellow hairstylist who got my start as a salon assistant and has hired salon assistants of my own.
Which is exactly what inspired me to dream up DoubleBook because there seriously needed to be a better way for new people to break into this industry (without all the mistreatment!) and for salon professionals to hire help without committing to full-time hours.
DoubleBook is what I wish I had after I got my cosmetology license so I could have worked in more salons. It's the support I would have wanted when I went to hire my first salon assistant, but couldn't offer consistent hours. And it's a platform I am bursting at the seams to share with you because hopefully, it will be everything you've been wanting, too.

That gal is me, Holly!
DoubleBook is like your favorite rideshare app, but for salon support.
Where salon professionals get the short-term help they need for the days they want (and get to share their expertise with the salon assistants they hire!).
And salon assistants can find assisting jobs that pay their bills while gaining real-world experience and insight into the beauty industry.
On-demand. On your terms. And a win for everyone.
